The importance of an Universal basic income

Universal basic income would be the real end of slavery (or, at least, a beginning), which was only replaced by wage slavery. in the present wage slavery age, people are not free, but their lives are dependent on "jobs" and "job creators". a really free society is a society able to create and provide by all means (human and technological) a universal basic income. a society in which people are considered the highest values. UBI is the socio-economical equivalent of the universal and fundamental human rights.
more than this, in a world dominated by money and capital, UBI could be a first step towards the elimination of money from the economy, because people would be more able to act in the direction of what they need and what they are, not for making money, products and sustaining corporate interests. hence an economy based on human needs and values, not on financial capital.
some people say that UBI woud encourage laziness. but we must remember that many slaves (like black people in US, or roma/gipsy in Romania) were considered lazy by their masters or supervisors. and of course they were and should be. I would be too. they had no lives and no dignity. and of course this is why people are "lazy" today, in the wage slavery age. actually, this is an economy based on slave laziness and full of laziness (this is why is hyperproductive -made with low costs- and hyperconsumerist -based on many imposed -and artificial- needs). people tired of going to unwanted and unfulfilling jobs, to search jobs, to serve others and, finally, to pay the banks. people are getting tired and depressed... and lazy. and only UBI can actually eliminate laziness.
